| Eddie Wright joined Petroleum Engineers Inc ("PEI") in 2005 as a drilling engineering consultant. Prior to his career with PEI, he worked for Bechtel Nevada Corporation, Ocean Drilling Company, Panaco, Inc. and Texas Railroad Commission where some of his jobs have included Senior Field Engineer, Senior Operations Engineer, and Manager of Drilling and Offshore Production Operations. In his current role at PEI, Eddie focuses on drilling planning and project management with specialties in underbalanced and directional drilling planning and operations and thru tubing operations. Eddie is experienced with both shallow and deep high pressure wells in the continental United States and shallow and deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
Eddie began his career with El Paso Natural Gas Company in Midland, Texas after graduating from The University of Texas with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Eddie is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas and a member of the AADE and SPE.
While at PEI, Eddie has led and/or supported projects for Devon Energy and Cimarex Energy Company, among many others. |
