| Stan Arabie joined Petroleum Engineers, Inc ("PEI") in 2005 as a drilling engineer. Prior to his career with PEI, he worked for Stokes & Spiehler, Inc, Shell Oil (PDO), Smith Bits, Inc. and Dowell Schlumberger where some of his jobs have included Drilling Engineer, Operations Engineer, Well Planning Engineer, and Field Engineer. In his current role at PEI, Stan focuses on well planning and project management with specialties in casing design, directional drilling, and drill bit optimization. Stan is experienced with both land and offshore rigs in deepwater, domestic, and international environments.
Stan began his career with Mud Motors, Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana after graduating from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1990 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Stan is a registered Engineer in Training in the state of Louisiana and a member of the AADE and SPE.
While at PEI, Stan has led and/or supported projects for Aspect Energy, Patara Oil & Gas, and Reef Exploration, among many others.
