| C. Frayer "Skip" Kimball III helped found Petroleum Engineers Inc ("PEI") in 1970. Prior to his career with PEI, he worked for Drilling Well Control, Inc. and Coastal States Gas Producing Company where some of his jobs have included District Engineer, Drilling Engineer, and Petroleum Engineer. In his current role at PEI, Skip focuses on well planning and well construction, with specialties in HTHP planning / operations and horizontal and extended reach drilling. Skip is experienced in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, India and Trinidad.
Skip began his career with Pan American Petroleum Corporation in Beeville, Texas after graduating from Louisiana State University in 1958 with a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering. Skip is a registered professional engineer in the states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado, as well as a member of AADE, API and AIME.
While at PEI, Skip has led and/or supported projects for Forest Oil, Pennzoil, Denbury, and Virgin Offshore, among many others. |
