| Sam Tisci joined Petroleum Engineers Inc ("PEI") in 2006 as a petroleum and Workover & Completion engineering project manager specializing in deep, high pressure-high temperature environments. Prior to his career with PEI, he worked for Jordan Oil Company, Cedyco Corporation, Bishop Pipeline Company, Creole Gas Company, Heltex Petroleum Corporation, Tiger Oil Company (Denver), Kravis & Associates and Keplinger & Associates (Tulsa) where some of his job responsibilities have included Petroleum Engineer, Workover & Completion Engineer, Gas Acquisition Manager, Operations Manager, Acquisition & Divestiture Manager and Reservoir Engineer. In his current role at PEI, Sam focuses on project management, workovers & completions, production engineering, reservoir evaluations, reservoir and economic studies and project supervision with a specialty in fishing and troubleshooting operations planning and implementation. Sam is experienced in the major basins in Texas and along the Texas Gulf Coast, Louisiana and the Inland Waters of South Louisiana, Eastern Colorado and Oklahoma.
Sam began his career with Keplinger & Associates in Tulsa, Oklahoma after graduating from University of Tulsa in 1984 with a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering. Sam is a member of SPE and is currently studying for the Texas Professional Engineering Exam & Certification.
While at PEI, Sam has led and/or supported projects for Venoco Inc., Pel-Tex Oil Company and Clayton Williams Exploration among many others. |
