Petroleum Engineers Venezuela is the PEII Branch set up to serve the Oil Industry in Venezuela. The Branch has been active for 4 years. Operations are currently active in the oil provinces in the East and West of the country. PEV is serving the National Oil Company, PDVSA, as well as the international Oil Companies, which are participating in the Field Reactivation and Exploration Rounds. George A. "Spike" Phillips manages the Branch.
The scope of project capability extends from placing individual engineers and field supervisors to staff operator managed activities such as preparation of field development plans, engineering reviews-evaluation of field practices, well and facilities costs, budget development, well plans and development of workover programs to full Project Management. In Project Management we have the resources to place full teams of Managers, Geologists, Geophysicists, Drilling Engineers, Reservoir Engineers, Completions Engineers and Production Engineers to plan and manage Development/Operations anywhere in the country
	In Venezuela, we have proven to our clients that we can deliver the construction of high quality wellbores in very difficult drilling environments. In particular we have excellent experience and success in the deep drilling areas in Lake Maracaibo and around Maturin. We have a number of expatriate, bilingual engineering and operational staff; we appreciate the culture and are committed to Venezuela for the long term.
